Wow, what a way to kick off 2018! We applied and we were selected! Elmhurst has been successfully chosen as one of the Six to Celebrate. Elmhurst History & Cemeteries Preservation Society is so honored that Elmhurst has been selected as one of the neighborhoods for the 2018 "Six to Celebrate" program by the Historic Districts Council. This recognition proves that Elmhurst as a community merits historic preservation, something we have known and felt strongly about for so long. This wonderful program and the advocacy of the Historic Districts Council will help us achieve our 2018 goals for our preservation and historic projects in Elmhurst.
